Sharks will play exhibition in Germany

SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks announced that they will play their final 2010 preseason game in Mannheim, Germany at SAP Arena against the Adler Mannheim Eagles on Sat., Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. (11:30 a.m. PST).

The preseason game will precede the team’s 2010-11 season opener in Stockholm, Sweden against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Ericsson Globe.  The Sharks and Blue Jackets will play a “home and home” series on Fri., Oct. 8 and Sat., Oct. 9 as part of 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere and NHL Face-Off.
